    The 84th Annual SGANC Championship was a huge success with 92 players participating in the event held at Del Paso CC and Northridge CC. After two days of play Bob Berg was crowned the overall gross champion, while Tom Marx won the overall net title. Berg put together two rounds of golf that totaled five-over par. Marx on the other hand had a two-day net score, which totaled four-under par.

    In the championship flight David Sasseen won the gross title with a two-day score of eight-over par. Ed Anderson took home first place in the net portion by firing a 36-hole score of four-under par. Coming in second place for low net score was Neal Pearson at two-under par, while third place went David Pearson at even-par.

    The president’s flight saw Ed Reeder claim the gross title with a 36-hole score of 24-over par. Terrance Leahy was awarded first place in the net division with a two-day score of even-par. In second place of the president’s flight net division was Bob Scuitto also with a score of even-par, while third place went to Jerry Lass at two-over par.

    Dan Lewis posted the low gross score in the governor’s flight with a two-day total of 31-over par. Richard Murray posted the low net score for 36 holes firing a score of one-over par. Don Wahl took second place in the net division of the governor’s flight, while Richard Gemignani took third place with both players firing a 36-hole total of two-over par.

    The Super Senior flight also awarded a gross winner and three net winners with the low gross score going to William McLean. Carlo Carilli had the low net score, while Fred Shinoda was second and Fred Quadros was third.
