Benefits

Membership in the SGANC provides you with:

• Opportunities to play friendly tournament golf at a wide variety of first class and typically hard to arrange venues (see the Tournaments section for a list of current and past venues)
• Camaraderie and networking with like-minded lovers of the game of golf.
• Social activities including fine dinners and cocktail parties.

Eligibility

Any male amateur golfer who has reached the age of 50 by the first day of the current year’s championship and a member in good standing of a golf club which is a member of the Northern California Golf Association, is eligible for membership. The applicant for membership must be sponsored by two current members in good standing of the Association. The application for membership must be filled out in its entirety and signed by the applicant and the applicant’s proposer and the seconder.

If you are not aware of an SGANC sponsor please send us a completed application and we will forward it to our Membership Chair for follow-up.

Initiation Materials

New members will pay a one-time fee of $95 to receive their initiation materials: a tie, blazer badge, and name tag. The tie and badge are worn at our spring tournament dinner.

Annual Dues

Dues to the Senior Golf Association of Northern California are paid annually.
